We are looking for an energetic, reliable and extremely organised Studio Technician to join our team.
The studio crew is split into three divisions including photography, film productions, and venue hire. The company’s facilities include six production sets spread over two buildings, and the work is produced on Hasselblad, Red Dragon and high speed Phantom Cameras. The overall objective of the role is designed to fit within a teamwork approach of a busy studio. Therefore you must have a proven experience in working in photography and/or film environments.
The ideal candidate will be exceptionally hard working and organised individual with excellent IT, technical and DIY skill. You will be physically capable of organising busy work areas and have the ability to build sets, make props and repair / maintain equipment including cameras, lighting and computers. A good knowledge of electrical systems and safe cable management is essential. You will be able to understand and cooperate with other departments, possess good problem solving skills alongside a ‘can-do’ attitude, offer practical solutions and demonstrate high levels of interpersonal skills.
Along with practical and technical support for the studios, the chosen applicant will be exposed to a diverse clientele and learn through hands on experience assisting during film and photography shoots.

- Testing and maintaining equipment including cameras, lighting and computers.
- Organizing work areas and prepping sets on a daily basis.
- Assisting during photo and film shoots including set building and props making.
- Organizing clients’ products / unpacking / packing / arranging deliveries and pick-ups.
- Sourcing, purchasing and cataloguing props.
- Keeping studio supplies up to date.
- Various DIY jobs within the studios - this may include: wiring, putting up shelves, painting, cleaning, lifting heavy objects etc.
